The new GIPRO X-Type.....fast, accurate, compact!

The all new GIpro-X from HealTech Electronics Ltd. is the third GIpro variant in the range. This Gear Position Indicator will fit ALL motorcycles and vehicles which have electronic speedometer (either analog or digital readout).
(For vehicles with cable driven speedometer, we offer an optional speed sensor)

Due to a modern processor and sophisticated firmware, the GIpro-X offers faster and more reliable readings than competitive products. Same size as the GIpro-DS this is also the smallest, most compact gear indicator on the market, making it easy to mount at the instrument cluster. Just the perfect size. It has a clear front face which goes along nicely with the factory instruments.

The product has Red, Blue, Green or Yellow LED display.

The model is auto learning, there are no buttons and no “programming wire”. Just go through the gears and you are done. (see user guide)

Programmable Shift Light function as well as High Speed Warning feature is included. You won’t find this feature set in other products.

The product is rugged, 100% weatherproof and comes with 2-years replacement warranty.

Installation?...pretty dang simple...

HealTech makes bike specific looms to make the installation quick and simple. This kit is "semi-universal" meaning that it requires one wire to be spliced (rpm signal) but the speedo sensor wire is plug-and-play! Follow these steps:

    • Locate the speed sensor. Plug the GIPRO-X speed pickup wire inline. If you have a SpeedoHealer installed, you have to connect the plugs in-line in the following order: Speed sensor male plug >> GIpro >> SH >> bike female plug.
    • Locate the ECU (Engine Control Unit) box. Usually under the seat or a side fairing. Find the tach signal wire (different by model...see bike-specific installation instructions for wire color directions)
    • Just go through the gears (see user guide for instructions) and you are done. Note that HealTech suggests doing this with a WARMED UP engine.
    • THAT'S IT!

Outstanding Factory Support

Customer support is available from HealTech Electronics (the folks with ALL the answers). Here are some FAQ's on this item:

  1. Q: Does this unit require splicing?
A: Yes. Unlike bikes that can utilize the plug-and-play GIPRO-DS, the models that need the GIPRO X-Type do not have a gear position sensor "GPS", so while the speed signal can be read from a plug, the RPM signal must be read via splicing into the ECU wiring loom.
  2. Q: My bike has an analog speedometer. How do I know if it's electric?
A: Regardless of whether your bike has an analog or digital speedo, if it's one of the bikes listed below, it should have an electronic speedo. The way to check for sure is if it has a wire going into the back of the gauge package, or a thicker cable going down (most likely) a front wheel speed pickup.
  3. Q: I have had other "universal" gear indicators and they weren't very fast registering gears nor always accurate.
A: Due to a modern processor and sophisticated firmware, the GIPRO-X has faster and more reliable readings than competitive products.
  4. Q: Does it read the correct gear with the clutch pulled in?
A: Since these bikes (which require the X-type) do not have a gear position sensor to still register the proper gear, determining (and thus displaying) the gear in use is only possible with the clutch fully released. (With the clutch pulled in, the GIPRO-X will register "-" only)
  5. Q: I have had gear indicators register incorrect gears. How accurate is this unit?
A: Beyond perhaps a split second with the clutch being released slowly (slipping the clutch, etc) this unit will ALWAYS register the correct gear. We stand behind it!
  6. Q: I am using a Speedo Healer. I see that these plug in-line. How do they interact?
A: If you're using a Speedo Healer (or any competing product using this plug), any time you change the SH calibration factor, you have to reset the GIPRO-X and run the setup steps again. At any time, you can download the user guide again from the HealTech website (under "Products and Downloads" by looking up your bike model).
  7. Q: How do the programmable shift light and High Speed Warning features work?
A: For the Shift Light ("SL"), once you hit or exceed the pre-set RPM, the display will rapidly flash "U". For the High Speed Warning ("HSW"), it will flash the actual gear rapidly once you hit or exceed

GIPRO-X on CBR600FEach unit is extensively tested, and comes with a 30-day money back guarantee if for any reason it fails to meet your expectation (All parts must be returned in original condition), and a TWO YEAR replacement guarantee (The product should not be damaged or subjected to over-voltage.

NEW NEW NEW NEW NEW NEW NEW NEW NEW NEW NEW

*** GIPRO X-Type-WSS ***
Gear Indicator (Wheel Speed Sensor)
NEW UNIVERSAL FIT for vehicles with cable driven speedometer.

The GIPRO X-Type-WSS  Gear Indicator (Wheel Speed Sensor) UNIVERSAL FIT is made for any bike with wheels and electronic ignition!

HealTech now makes a wheel speed sensor kit ("WSS") which is in essence a universal speed sensor kit for bikes that cannot use the plug-n-tap kits.

- Unlike with sensors from other brands, no need to install magnets on the wheel.

- Our sensor detects movement of the bolt heads of the brake disc, or bolt heads of the rear sprocket.

- Rear wheel mounting is recommended to ensure the gear indicator will function correctly even with the front wheel up.

- The sensor can be used also in custom applications, where a bike owner wants to replace an old (cable driven) instrument cluster to a new cluster, which requires electronic speed signal. Note that this would also require a SpeedoHealer to correct the signal.
