True MAP based FI module, designed specifically for SUZUKI motorcycles

The FI Tuner Pro communicates with the factory ECU/ECM (bike computer) to get the fueling right, no matter what exhaust and air filter you use. After setup, the module improves throttle response and power at all throttle positions, in the entire RPM range. The engine becomes smooth and precise. Increased torque at low RPMs allows using one gear higher than usual, which also improves fuel economy.

How does the FI Tuner Pro compare to competing fuel injection controllers?

The FI Tuner Pro is by far the most cost effective true map-based fuel injection controller on the market.

MAP PROTOCOL:
• FI Tuner Pro is a true map-based tuner, adjusting at 11 throttle positions in 500 RPM increments.

It supports fuel addition AND subtraction (there are times subtraction is needed), and it can store 3 independent user-selectable maps. It controls all 8 injectors on an inline-4 bike.
• Most competing units only control 4 injectors (PC3, etc). Also, several competing "fuel injection controllers" aren't even truly map-based kits. What they call "maps" are just pre-programmed settings for constant throttle/accelerate, full throttle. This is more like fancy carb jetting than making an accurate map for Air-Fuel ratios across the gear and RPM range.

INSTALLATION AND SETUP
• FI Tuner Pro connects to the ECU expansion port under the seat in just a few minutes. No need to remove fuel tank or fairings. Size is about 1/3 the dimensions of the PC3/PC5. Setup is very quick due to the "Auto Cell Select" and "Immediate AFR Response to Cell Update" features. The table is color coded for easy/fast viewing. The unit can be set up manually (without dyno) if customer has an AFR gauge or AFR logger and simply wants to add fuel in small increments (never subtract fuel by guesswork).

USER INTERFACE/SOFTWARE
• FI Tuner Pro has simple, responsive, and efficient interface. No confusing options, no menus, everything is shown at a glance. AUTOMATIC fail-safe software AND firmware updates. Unit is fully USB-native so tuning is dead simple. All you need is to connect the unit to the bike, and hook up the USB cable to a laptop with the FIT Tuning software. If you want to connect the FI Tuner Pro to a computer away from your bike (to load a map) you can do so using the stand alone USB adapter cable ($13 extra).

MAP LIBRARY
• FI Tuner Pro is a new product, so we are building a map library. HOWEVER, we very sincerely believe that users will truly be much MUCH happier if a custom map is done by a dyno tuning center. Baseline maps for X bike with X exhaust and X air filter is like making a pair of "large" jeans for men who are 5'10"-5'11". This could be someone like MotoGP racer Colin Edwards (5'10" and 145lbs) or Mike Tyson (5'11" and 218lbs). Get the idea? Yes...it generally improves things...but it's NOT the same as having a dyno center produce a custom map for your bike.

TO LOAD A MAP YOURSELF:
Visit the HealTech website, go to the FI TUNER PRO section and click the "Downloads" link to find a map for your bike model. Remember that the FI Tuner Pro must be connected to the bike as well to load a map, or the adapter cable must be used for off-the-bike use with your PC.

TO SUBMIT A MAP:
Email support@healtech-electronics.com to see if a map is needed for your bike year/model/exhaust combo. Note that Suzuki tends to run year models in groups (ex. Hayabusa '02-'07 all use the same map)

MODEL FITMENT & PRODUCT COMPATIBILITY
• FI Tuner Pro fits most Suzuki EFI models from 1997 to present. So it can be moved to any other Suzuki EFI motorcycle.
• While the FI Tuner Pro does not mate to a native quick shifter module, you CAN USE a stand-alone quick shifter module kit (Bazzaz etc.) in complete harmony with this kit. It also works great in conjunction with our timing retard units X-TRE or GIPRO w/ATRE installed.
